The Epson SureColor SC-T3200-PS Printer is a professional-grade, high-quality Epson SureColor Series technical printer. High-resolution printing is provided by thin film print heads with micro-fine nozzles. Additionally, accurate ink density control is achieved through integrated Variable-Size Droplet Technology. Consequently, this results in improved color and fill consistency. These printers employ Epson UltraChrome Ink, an all-pigment ink that creates vivid, long-lasting prints on a variety of substrates. The XD formulation’s improved red and green tones and extended color gamut make it especially well-suited for POS, display, and presentation work. The printer can alternate between the matte and picture blacks included in the ink set, according to the demands of the output. Flexible Media Support Techniques for Epson SC-T3200

The SureColor Technical series has three different printer sizes to meet different output requirements.

The 24-inch (610mm) models support output up to A1 and come in desktop or floor-standing form. The 36-inch (914mm) versions can handle output up to A0, while the 44-inch (1118mm) models support output up to B0. These printers are designed to be cost-effective; they feature large, affordable waste tanks and consume minimal power and ink. They use ink cartridges that come in three capacities to accommodate varying operational and cost-per-print requirements (110 ml, 350 ml, and 700 ml).

The Epson SureColor SC-T3200-PS Printer is designed to accept a wide range of roll and single-sheet media. It can handle stock as light as 80gsm for draft work. Additionally, it has a special straight path that supports stock as thick as 1.5mm for presentation and model work. The series features a heavy-duty, high-speed auto-cutter that can cut a wide variety of media and slice an A1 sheet in just 2 seconds. Roll media is quick and easy to load with a spindle-less design that facilitates easy exchange. For users who work with multiple media types, optional roll media adaptor kits are available for pre-attachment to stored rolls. Additionally, roll belts can be used for tension maintenance and edge protection.

All printers have an inbuilt Roll Media Barcode Management system that tracks consumption and enables automatic reconfiguration upon loading. The 36-inch and 44-inch models can also be ordered in a dual-roll version. This option enables fast roll exchange (26 seconds) and allows for manual or automatic roll selection with configurable parameters. The system can automatically rotate images for optimal media consumption, and efficient, uninterrupted production can span large print runs over multiple rolls.

Easy to Install and Flexible to Operate

The Epson SureColor SC-T3200-PS Printer has high-speed networking capabilities and supports the latest addressing and security protocols. They are compatible with standard Macintosh and Windows applications. Additionally, they support HP-GL/2 and RTL emulation for specialized CAD, GIS, and mathematical applications. The printers feature convenient, all-front-loaded consumables and a compact design. All connections are on the right side, allowing placement against a wall or in a corner for optimal space utilization. They have a high degree of self-maintenance and include in-built help, as well as providing remote email error and job status notifications. The floor-standing configurations come with a stand and media bin featuring adjustable output presentation.

In contrast, the single-roll models have an adjustable bin capable of holding up to 20 sheets, offering a choice between a flat or folded display. Dual-roll models come equipped with a spacious stowable bin and provide an optional auto-take-up reel for the T7200 model. This feature facilitates high-volume roll-to-roll production.

An optional PS Module provides the same functionality, with additional high-speed, hardware-based Adobe original Postscript 3 image processing. The PS functionality operates via hot-folder ‘drag-n-drop’ with configurable job processing and selectable document security. An optional Wide Format Scanner is also available for use with the 36-inch and 44-inch printers. The scanner supports media up to 38 inches wide and provides high-speed, high-resolution color scan, copy, and document-sharing facilities.
